This program, hosted at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) in Farmington, Connecticut, offers hands-on training through seminars and workshops led by experts in the fields of leadership, management, and communication.

I am honored to have recently received funding through the NIH Loan Repayment Program (LRP) under the Contraception and Infertility Research (CIR) category. This program is designed to recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals in biomedical or biobehavioral research careers. Through the NIH LRP, I will receive support to repay my educational debt in exchange for my commitment to conducting NIH mission-relevant research on infertility and contraception.

I was selected to receive the AIM-AHEAD (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity (AIM-AHEAD) and NIH National Center For Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) Training Program. This is an intensive 8-month program in advanced data analysis developed by National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and utilizing the resources of the NCATS N3C Data Enclave and AIM-AHEAD’s data science training core. Raskin Scholarship to Alexis Garretson, a graduate student at Tufts University and The Jackson Laboratory as well as a data scientist for Anecdata.org.
